Work History

K-LO provides a variety of Program Management support to federal and state government and commercial enterprises.  Initially, K-LO capitalized on Mr. Gibson’s program management and Naval Air Systems Command Inspector General experiences to provide assistance to the medical industry in becoming compliant with (Public Law 104-191), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).  Developing a systematic approach and through the use of national (NIST) and international (ISO) standards, K-LO has provided compliancy assistance to 34 individual covered entities for both the privacy and security portion of the law. 

As a federal government contracting firm, K-LO has been assisting the Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS) in the creation of a single enterprise-wide business process supporting the enlisted Career Management System undeer Sea Warrior.  In addition to this role, K-LO has provided business mapping and requirements generation for multiple commands under the Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education merger.
