K-LO, Inc. is a Florida registered small woman owned business with goals to perform services in a wide variety of business and technological areas. K-LO was co-founded in November 2002 by a former Navy Captain and certified Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) level III Program Manager and Logistics Manager.  As a business solution, services organization, K-LO is dedicated to the mission of partnering with clients to support their absolute needs in order to create comprehensive and economical solutions.  Since establishment in 2002, K-LO has opened an office in Millington, TN. supporting the Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS) Sea Warrior Program Office

K-LO provides a variety of Program Management support to federal and state government and commercial enterprises.  Initially, K-LO focused on program management to provide assistance to the medical industry in becoming compliant with (Public Law 104-191), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).  Developing a systematic approach and through the use of national (NIST) and international (ISO) standards, K-LO has provided compliancy assistance to 34 individual covered entities for both the privacy and security portion of the law.  As a federal government contracting firm, K-LO has been assisting the Bureau of Naval Personnel (BUPERS) in the creation of a single enterprise-wide business process for human resource management. The team, consist of a blend of DoD acquisition specialists, subject matter experts, technical writers and a software engineer provide overarching process development execution to develop and maintain necessary associated data systems for BUPERS, Sea Warrior Program Management Office (PMO).
